Some of the members made the long, hot trip down to Pomona for the annual LA Roadster Show. This was the first year of the “big changes” in which the entering roadsters
were charged $50 instead of driving in free as in the past 50 years………you can form your own opinion as to the results, but photos don’t lie. To put it mildly, there was LOTS of extra parking space for roadsters.
A little bit of a personal observation: there was a ’37 Ford sedan from Michigan parked inside the fairgrounds, between the roadsters of our club, and he had an LA Roadster sticker on his headlight, just like the roadsters used to get; How did that happen?
Anyway, if you didn’t go you missed a good time and probably still the largest roadster show on the planet. We’ll be there next year for sure……………
